Characteristics of activity:

The Polish Ceramic Society runs activity mainly by organizing scientific conferences and seminars in the field determined by above-mentioned statute goals i.e. concerning ceramics sensu largo. The Society also initiates scientific research within ceramics as well as is a forum for establishing cooperation between scientific and industrial centres.

The Polish Ceramic Society is a member of international organisations: International Ceramic Federation, European Ceramic Society, European Glass Society i International Commission on Glass).

There are seven sections within the Polish Ceramic Society:

Since 2001 the Society has been the owner of the quarterly Materialy Ceramiczne and moreover since 1991 it has co-operated with Cracowian Branch of the Commission of the Ceramic Sciences of Polish Academy of Sciences together editing a publishing series titled Ceramika/Ceramics - Polski Biuletyn Ceramiczny/Polish Ceramic Bulletin.
