DEEP SEA TYCOON Building Guide & Tips by: Allex Domingo Note: This is not a walkthrough. Gameplay varies depending on the character you will choose. Some characters will add to sealife, happiness, vacation; but deducts to build time, starting capital, etc. Basic tips: If you want to have save games of each scenario, you should save your game before you reach your goal, because as soon as you reach your goal, the scenario ends and you can't go on playing. Time is gold, as time goes by, you begin to lose money, as you start paying off loans. If you choose a character that constructs buildings instantly, build your buildings while your game is paused. Otherwise, you will lose valuable money to pay for all the other buildings you still need, plus the bonus buildings you have to buy. If you choose a character that erects buildings slowly, build a construction office as soon as you have the homebase built. In some scenarios wherein you are not required to earn profit but requires a lot of buildings, you can max out your loan without worrying about earning enough to pay off your debts, because, as I said, the scenario ends as soon as you reach your goal. You don't want to run short, and since you are storing products and not selling, chances are your debts will mount up, so you would not have funds to build some more. A good money making venture will be the Atlantis Treasury. Build 3 of them with 1 warehouse. Borrow some money if you have to, your debts will be paid after a few months, and then you start making money. Do this with campaigns with money making goals, you wouldn't earn as much with tourism, that is, hotels and such. But the Atlantis Treasury is perfect because it boosts happiness, vacation and sea life unlike the other industries.
